2024 Application Guidelines of Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees

● Program Objectives

  Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea in pursuit of academic degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

  ※ As Korean Government Scholarship Programs have been integrated and branded as Global Korea Scholarship in 2010, the name is changed to GKS(Global Korea Scholarship).

● Number of Expected Grantees

  In 2024, Korean Government's Global Korea Scholarship program aims to invite 2,200 international students who wish to pursue a graduate level degree (master's or doctoral) or research in Korea.

● Eligibility & Required Documents

  Please first check the "2024 GKS-G Application Guidelines(모집요강)", "2024 GKS-G Overview of University(Dongguk Univ.)", and "2024 GKS-G Available Departments(Dongguk Univ.)" and attached files below to learn about the list of countries invited to take part in our program, qualifications, available universities and majors, application procedures, application forms, and further more.

● Selection Procedures(University Track)

  To be selected as a GKS (KGSP) grantee, an applicant must successfully pass the 1st round of selection managed by the Korean embassy where he or she holds the citizenship or NIIED-designated Korean universities.

● Application Deadline : March 29, 2024 

● Address for Documents Submission : Office of International Students(KGSP), Rm 620, Hyehwa Hall, Dongguk University, 30, Pildong-ro 1-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, 04620, Republic of Korea

  ※ All documents must be arrived at Dongguk University no later than the application deadline.

  ※ Online submission is not approved.
