The Visiting Student Program at Dongguk University is an opportunity for students from non-partner universities to broaden their college experience and supplement the undergraduate programs at their home institutions by studying at Dongguk University for up to two semesters.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree seeking program outside of Korea who have completed at least one semester

How to apply

Please, contact incoming@dongguk.edu if there are available seats for visiting program for the next semester.

1. Apply in the website during the application period.

2. Send the required Documents to incoming@dongguk.edu by the deadline of application period.

(1) Application Form – Capture file of the application webpage

(2) Home University approval – The document from your home university which confirms your participation of Dongguk University visiting program(Attached, page 2)

(3) Motivation Letter – Student should complete the Motivation Letter(Attached, page 3,4)

(4) Official transcript (written in English)

(5) Copy of passport

(6) 2 passport sized photographs

(7) Letter of Motivation

(8) Affidavit of Support
– Certificate of Account Balance of Sponsor or Applicant or Scholarship Certificate
– This is required in order to prove the student’s ability to finance the period spent at Dongguk University
– Minimum Account balance for 2 semesters: USD 10,000

Accommodation

Once students apply to Dongguk, they will receive accommodation information with application forms. On-campus(limited) and Off-campus options are available.
