Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees

● Program Objectives

  Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea at graduate-level degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

  ※ As Korean Government Scholarship Programs have been integrated and branded as Global Korea Scholarship in 2010, the name is change to GKS(Global Korea Scholarship).

● Number of Expected Grantees

  In 2021, Korean Government's Global Korea Scholarship program aims to invite 1,278 international students from 154 regions who wish to pursue a graduate level degree (master's or doctoral) or research in Korea.

● Eligibility & Required Documents

  Please first check the "2021 GKS-G Application Guidelines(모집요강)", "Dongguk University Information + available Major" and attached files below to learn about the list of countries invited to take part in our program, qualifications, available universities and majors, application procedures, application forms, and further more.

● Selection Procedures(University Track)

  To be selected as a GKS (KGSP) grantee, an applicant must successfully pass the 1st round of selection managed by the Korean embassy where he or she holds the citizenship or NIIED-designated Korean universities.

● Application Deadline : April 16, 2021 

● Address for Documents Submission : Office of International Student Services(KGSP), Rm 620, Hyehwa Hall, Dongguk University, 30, Pildong-ro 1-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, 04620, Republic of Korea

  ※ All documents must be arrived at Dongguk  University no later than application deadline.
